Last Thing Thursdays

Last week it felt like Spring was right around the corner and this week it seems that Winter is back to stay…sigh. Oh well, no time for moping, the show must go on!

The Last Thing…

I Thought You Should do to Prepare for Spring. Give yourself a fun manicure.

Take a page from Camille and spruce up those fingernails, she has some really fun ideas to brighten up your hands.

I Thought you Might Find Useful. This how to mix and match your wristwear tutorial.

I thought these little pointers were incredibly handy!

I Thought You Should Have in Your Fridge. This delicious Huckleberry Wheat Ale.

I fell in love with Huckleberries this past summer in Montana. In fact, I even sampled some huckleberry beer back in August. However, since it was a Montana staple it was nowhere to be found in Vancouver. This past weekend, I browsing the cold beer and wine store near my home and I came across this gem from the Fernie Brewing Company. I took it home and promptly drank the entire bottle, sorry Montana, but this local beer is even better. I am heading back to the store to stock up!

I Wanted to DIY. A decorative tray, touché Martha!

What a great way to upcycle an old cookie sheet!

I Watched. Silver Linings Playbook.

Regardless, of whether or not this was on my Oscar List, I was really looking forward to seeing it. Thank goodness it lived up to my expectations. Not only was it funny, it was also incredibly heartwarming and addressed some serious mental health issues that are often swept under the rug. Oh, and could Jennifer Lawrence be any more amazing? Love her!

I Needed in my Closet. The newest edition of TOMS, shabby chic classics.

How perfect are these for Spring, I am loving the floral print.

I Pinned. This stunning outdoor space.

I am convinced I need a hammock and a fire pit, both are essential backyard elements. It’s shame they both won’t fit on my apartment balcony.

I Planned to Make. These Peanut Butter and Jelly Coconut Cashew Sandwich Cookies

I have a little get together with friends tomorrow, one of which is newly vegan, she deserves a treat! And so do you, so if these delicious cookies don’t appeal to you, than these Toasted Marshmallow Scotcharoo Cupcakes will.

If not, we probably can’t be friends anymore…I’m only kidding, I need you, I really do! I hope you have a fabulous Thursday!
